    Reminder - New Jersey Product Disclosure Update Release April 23, 2012
    Last November, ING USA filed disclosure statements for our non-registered annuities. During the past several months, ING USA and the New Jersey Department of Insurance (NJ DOI) have been in discussions regarding the changes to the disclosures statements. The NJ DOI recently gave final approval to the changes. These changes are effective April 23, 2012. Any prior versions of the disclosure statements for business solicited prior to April 23 must be received at the ING Service Center before April 30th to be considered in good order.

    Finally, the NJ DOI is requiring the revised disclosure statement be presented to any client that has purchased an annuity since December 3, 2011. The plan for providing your client the revised disclosure statement is to mail a copy of the new disclosure statement and a letter explaining why they are receiving the revised disclosure statement.

    Please notice that the NJ specific application has been updated to include the revised NJ SPIA disclosure statement. In addition, the NJ Guarantee Choice disclosure statement is not included because it was approved and released on January 24, 2012. Below is a list of form numbers for each of our products.
