Texas Annuity Regulations

 

Texas has adopted new regulations related to Suitability in Annuity Transactions effective September 1, 2011. Agents who currently solicit and sell annuities in Texas must complete the requirements prior to March 1, 2012. Any new agent who is licensed to sell annuities in Texas after September 1, 2011, must complete training requirements prior to the solicitation or sale of any annuity.
